The Paleo Foodie Release Party!!

Don’t forget today is the last day to enter my giveaway to win a copy of The Paleo Foodie Cookbook!! A winner will be picked tomorrow! You can enter HERE.

I was lucky enough to be invited to the release party for The Paleo Foodie Cookbook this past weekend, and also an amazing dinner with all of the other fabulous bloggers! I spent an amazing evening with my husband in the beautiful town of Santa Cruz, and met so many wonderful people, many whose blogs I’ve been following since I started my own paleo journey! Arsy Vartanian from Rubies And Radishes (author of The Paleo Foodie Cookbook) and her husband are so sweet and welcoming! I even met Michelle from Nom Nom Paleo, who brought along her husband and two adorable boys!

The food at the party was all from Arsy’s new cookbook – it was all so AMAZING! There were many of the recipes that I’ve been dying to try, and I can’t wait to make them myself!

Just check out the menu!

After the party, all of the bloggers headed to Assembly, a brand new farm-to-table restaurant in the heart of downtown Santa Cruz. The menu looked so amazing, my husband and I both had the same thing, braised pasture-raised beef with roasted turnips, celery root puree, caramelized onion broth, parsley and fresh horseradish. My husband also had the genius idea to add bacon to it! An incredible dish, if you’re in the Santa Cruz area definitely swing-by this restaurant for dinner!

I feel so lucky and blessed to be a part of such an amazing community! I can’t wait to spend more time with these wonderful people!

I hope everyone else had a fantastic weekend! What was something fun that you did this past week?
