When first switching to a paleo lifestyle, it can be tough to figure out what to eat for snacks. I’m often asked what sorts of snacks are best, and this post will give you a really great idea of just how many delicious options you have! I’ve put together a paleo snacks round up, which includes over 110 recipes from myself, as well as my fellow bloggers, plus plenty of snacks that you can simply purchase online or in stores!
As nice as it would be to be able to eat homemade everything all the time, I’m also totally realistic and know that’s hardly ever the case. At least it isn’t with me! Thankfully more and more awesome companies are popping up with pre-packaged, junk-free, paleo snacks. In addition to all of the amazing homemade paleo snacks that you’ll find in this post, I’ve included some of my favorite snacks that can be purchased in stores and online, which you’ll find towards the bottom of this page.
No matter what your snacking style is – sweet, savory, somewhere in between – I’ve got you covered! You won’t be running out of options with this list!
Savory Homemade Snacks
Herbed Chevre, Spinach and Smoked Salmon Pinwheels (omit the cheese for dairy-free)

Sweet & Savory Homemade Snacks
(the best of both worlds!)
Pre-made (Store-bought) Snacks
Rx Bars – These are one of my favorite snacks, as they have a good amount of protein, and they taste amazing! The Coconut Cacao and Blueberry are my favorite flavors.
Epic Bars & Jerky – Grassfed jerky bars and jerky packs.
Kit Bars – Fruit & nut bars.
Lara Bars – Fruit & nut bars, similar to Kit Bars.
Sunbutter – A great replacement for peanut butter. Be sure to get the organic kind, as it’s the only one without added sugar.
Plantain Chips – These a great alternative to tortilla chips and are delicious with salsa or guacamole.
Artisana Coconut Butter – Really delicious served with fruit.
Justin’s Almond Butter Squeeze Packs – Great for on the go, with a banana, apple, carrot or celery sticks.
Olive Oil SeaSnax – Just like they say, strangely addictive!
Kale Chips – One of my favorite store bought snacks!
Steve’s Paleo Goods – dried fruit, trail mix, and grainless granola.
Jackson’s Honest Sweet Potato Chips – the only brand I’ve found that’s cooked in coconut oil!
Nikki’s Coconut Butter – these are so good, and a great source of healthy fats!
