These posts have become my absolute favorite to write, and I hope you love reading them! Today’s Motivation Monday is something I’m experiencing right now, and it can apply to many different areas in your life.
Have you ever wanted something so much, that you were willing to do whatever it takes to get it?
It’s been over 4 and a half years since I’ve taken a medication for my Crohn’s Disease, and yet I’m still experiencing one last side effect from one of these medications. If you read my post awhile back about the price I’ve paid from these medications, you’ll know that I developed Adrenal Insufficiency from Prednisone. Whomp Whomp…
I believe that life is about learning lessons, and growing from them, in order to become better versions of ourselves. For the past four and a half years, I’ve “tried” to heal my adrenals, but I never really put 100% effort into it. I somewhat thought that they would just magically heal on their own, but I’ve now realized that in order to get what I want the most, I need to reprioritize my entire life.
This is why, right now, I’m putting my health first. Everything else comes after that.
It doesn’t mean that it will be easy, but I know it will be worth it.
I know that in order to completely heal, I’ll have to do things that I don’t want to do, and sometimes miss out on things that I really want to do. Projects that I’ve been working on have been delayed, which I don’t love, but I know it’s necessary. In order to heal my body once and for all, this is what needs to happen.
I also know that all of this is temporary.
I’m giving this everything that I’ve got, which is why I have no doubt that I will succeed.
What is it that you want the very most in life? Is it a new career that you love? Is there a project that you really want to accomplish? Is it your health that you want to improve?
If you truly want something, go get it. Anything that is really worth it takes hard work!
I leave you with this challenge for the week ahead:
Go after whatever it is that you want the most with everything that you’ve got. I’ll be there right along side you!
I’d love to hear from you in the comments!
Do you find it easy or hard to stay motivated to get what you want from life?
Are you someone who’s good at slowing down? I’m not! 😉
Have you ever worked really hard for something that you realized was completely worth it once you accomplished it?
