I’m constantly asked if I take any medications (I no longer do, as I talked about HERE) or supplements, which I definitely do, so today I’m sharing my favorite supplements, along with why I take them!
To start this out with a lil disclaimer – let’s be very clear. These are the supplements that work for ME. I have absolutely no idea if they’ll work for you, or if they’re what you need, but I do know that it can be helpful to see what others are doing that are helping them to thrive. ALWAYS check with your doctor before starting any supplement.
While I’ve been healthy for the past 4+ years, since I changed my diet and lifestyle, my health has really skyrocketed to a new level this year. For the first time in my entire life, I’m really, truly THRIVING. I have a TON of energy, I run my own business, and am able to do my obstacle course training 5-6 days a week. It’s something that I’ll never, ever take for granted, as I know what the opposite is.
I’ve experimented over the years with different supplements to find what makes me feel my best. I’m a true believer that I should notice a difference when taking a supplement, or else I don’t see a point in using it. Again, this is my personal belief, and it doesn’t mean that it’s right for you.
I’m VERY selective with the supplements that I take, and only trust a few brands that I know are doing it right.

My Favorite Supplements & Why I Take Them
Puori 3
I started taking all of my Puori supplements (listed in this post) 4 months ago, and ever since then, I’ve felt stronger and healthier than EVER before. I absolutely LOVE this Puori 3 supplement, as it’s a daily pack filled with the nutrients that many of us are lacking, including magnesium, Vitamin D3, B6, Omega-3 and Zinc.
I used to catch anything and everything and was constantly sick, as my immune system was so depleted from the medications that I was on. Now, my immune system is incredibly healthy and strong! I never get sick anymore, not even a cold, which I contribute majorly to the nutrients that I get in this Puori 3 supplement.
Together these do everything from maintain your heart health and immune function to reduce fatigue. Magnesium in particular is something that a huge amount of the population is deficient in. I’ve personally noticed a HUGE improvement in my sleep as well as my PMS symptoms since I’ve added this to my daily life.
If there were only one supplement I could take, it would be this!
Puori SB3
I’ve taken dozens of different probiotics over the years, and this is by far my favorite! Not only is this easy to take (and it tastes great), but it keeps my gut super healthy and happy, and it also contains a good dose of vitamin C. I take this SB3 every morning, mixed with a small glass of water. I especially love that it doesn’t need to be refrigerated, so I can take it along with me when I’m traveling. It couldn’t be any easier to get my probiotics in!
Puori O3 Liquid
I take this ultra pure fish oil a few times a week for added Omega-3’s in my diet. This is the only Omega-3 supplement that I’ve ever tried that’s completely tasteless, so you can mix it into anything or take it straight without gagging. That’s always a huge win in my book. 😉
Omega-3’s are super important as they help your body to maintain normal heart function, as well as normal brain function and vision. I especially love that it’s responsibly sourced from wild anchovies, which don’t accumulate toxins and heavy metals like larger fish tend to do.
Organ Complex
I started taking this Organ Complex just last week, and it’s already been a total game changer. This is literally the ONLY way that I’ll get in organ meats at this time. I’ve tried making my own “liver pills” but never stuck with it for more than a few weeks…as convenience and lack of any unpleasing taste is the key to get me to stick with taking any supplement. 😉
Through my own research, I’ve understand just how important (properly raised) organ meats are in our diets, so I’m LOVING how easy this Organ Complex makes it to get these nutrients in, without any taste whatsoever!
5-MTHF
This supplement is super personalized for ME, and prescribed to me by a functional medicine practitioner. I discovered years ago through her lab work that I have an MTHFR gene mutation, which relates to detoxification and my bodies ability to utilize folate and folic acid.
This supplement helps my body to detox. From the research that I’ve done, there’s still so much to learn about the MTHFR gene mutation, but I do think it’s important to find out if you have it or not, and what that means for you.
Lipase
I had my gallbladder removed nearly 10 years ago, which is what helps to digest fats from the food that you eat. While my body has adjusted to absorbing many of that fats that I eat, if I do eat something particularly high in fat, I take lipase to help absorb the nutrients. Again, this supplement is super personalized for my bodies particular needs.
Puori G3 (Greens)
I love, love, LOVE this G3 greens supplement! It’s made with simply organic spinach, kale and parsley, and absolutely NOTHING else. I mix in a scoop with my protein shake as a super easy way to get in the three most nutrient rich leafy greens available! Each scoop contains two servings of vegetables! I especially love traveling with this supplement as it makes it super easy to get extra veggies in while I’m away from home.
Puori PR3 (Protein Powder)
I’ve experimented with different protein powders over the years, and this is my current favorite. It contains only 6 simple ingredients, and leaves me feeling great!
I use this protein powder maybe once a week, so it’s certainly not a daily thing for me. It’s rice based, making it gluten and dairy-free, and contains collagen (I LOVE collagen – it’s great for bone health, tendons, ligaments, cartilage, strong hair, nails and glowing skin) as well as coconut water, which helps to replenish the minerals that you’ve lost.

As you said you need to notice a difference when taking a supplement, what differences do you notice with the organ supp and the MTHFR supp (I have one of the mutations too). Thx!
Hi! When I first started taking the 5-MTHF a few years ago I noticed a difference in how I felt overall, as well as more increased energy. I worked with a functional practitioner to find the best dose for me at the time, although I’m not sure if this is something I’ll continue to take. As for the organ complex I definitely notice an increase in energy as well! 🙂
