I always LOVED sugar. I also basically lived off of sugar as a kid. I was the kid that ate Twinkies topped with the bright colored frosting that came out of a tube. Seriously. Now, just thinking of that makes me wanna gag, but back then, it was delicious.
Growing up, I was always skinny, and often underweight, due to having Crohn’s Disease. I was constantly told by my doctors that it didn’t matter what I ate, I just needed to eat. So I ate lots and lots of sugar. After all, food only affected my weight, right? Uhhh…NO.
Back in 2010, before I’d started or had even heard of paleo, I did the 21-Day Sugar Detox. It changed my entire life, and for the very first time, I realized that the food that I was eating had an impact on how I felt, both emotionally and physically.
By the time the 21 days were over, I felt like a brand new person! My energy was up, I was sleeping better, and I no longer had ANY cravings for sugar!
Now, times have changed and sugar no longer has any sort of hold over my life. It’s such an amazing feeling! The 21-Day Sugar Detox taught me so many valueable lessons that I’ve carried with me throughout the years.

Buffalo Cauliflower & Chicken Wings + 21-Day Sugar Detox Guide Review!
- sliced carrots
- sliced celery
- Ranch Dressing (page 240)
- Preheat the oven to 375°F.
- Toss the wings and cauliflower with 1-2 tablespoons ghee, then season generously with the Trifecta Spice Blend. Spread evenly on a baking sheet and bake for 50 minutes.
- Make the Buffalo sauce: In a small bowl, combine the ghee and hot sauce and mix well.
- Remove the wings and cauliflower from the oven. Toss with the Buffalo sauce and garnish with green onion. Serve with carrots, celery, and ranch dressing.
